Here are my 10 critical points that make up a Good Client:
- Has no hesitation in wanting to get the best results possible and will not settle for cheap bulk discounts or 2nd rate services.
- Is punctual. Why waste your money by paying for your appointments in advance, then constantly arrive late? I was once told that I am being paid anyway so I could go and have a coffee while my constantly late client showed up when they were ready to work out..........needless to say that client is no longer a client!
- Follows the plan. If you are not going to follow my advise then go to another coach.
- Is respectful by paying on time, every time. Running your own business is hard enough without having to chase people for payments. That wasted time can be spent on developing your programme.
- Doesn't whine or whinge when it gets a little tough. If it was that easy, we would see skinny and lean gym bunnies everywhere.
- Forgets the diet advise they read in magazines and on TV. If it worked then you wouldn't be a client of mine.
- Takes responsibility for their own results. If it isn't working your not doing something right, are you really getting 8 hours undisturbed quality sleep every night, are you really drinking 3 litres of alkaline water everyday, are you really having a lean wild meat and organic nut breakfast followed by a feeding every 2 1/2 - 3hours, are you actually sweating when you complete your sessions by yourself.................get my drift?
- Isn't self destructive. There are people who actually do not want to get results because that means they have been doing something wrong for perhaps 15 years and do not want to admit they were wrong all that time.
- Does their homework, whether it be a stretching programme, having a sauna or completing an interval workout on their own. Don't make excuses.
- Refers to friends and colleagues. If you get great results spread the word, you know you would if the results were poor!
